What it is
Applied Nutrition Amino Fuel is an essential amino acid (EAA) drink powder built for use around training. It is sugar-free, fat-free and effectively calorie-free at roughly 3 kcal per serving, so it fits easily into any diet or training goal. The clear-mixing powder is designed to sip through a workout to keep amino acids topped up, supporting recovery and reducing muscle breakdown during longer or fasted sessions. It suits gym-goers, endurance athletes and anyone wanting a low-calorie intra-workout amino option, and many versions are Informed Sport tested for competing athletes. How to use it
Each 13g scoop delivers 11g of amino acids in total, including 9g of EAAs (all nine essentials) and 6g of BCAAs in the classic 2:1:1 ratio, alongside 2.5g of added L-glutamine. Directions: Mix 1 scoop (13g) with approximately 500ml of cold water and shake well. Consume before, during or after training, or at any time during the day when additional amino acid intake is required.
Worth knowing
Stimulant-free. Worth knowing: it is sweetened rather than sugared, so if sweeteners tend to upset your stomach, keep the serving well diluted and sip rather than gulp.
