What it is

C4 Original by Cellucor is one of the world's most popular pre-workouts and a great choice for beginners, with a moderate 150mg of caffeine per serving plus beta-alanine (for that signature tingle) and creatine nitrate to support performance. It gives a noticeable energy and focus boost without being overwhelming. This tub in Mango Foxtrot provides about 30 servings. Contains caffeine; Avoid taking it late in the day or if you are sensitive to stimulants.

Mango Foxtrot is the tropical one, a change of pace if berry and cola flavours all start tasting the same.

Our take

For an evening session, C4's 150mg is about as much caffeine as we would suggest, and even then some people sleep better swapping to the stimulant-free ABE Pump. During the day, though, this is an easy, forgiving tub that suits almost everyone who walks in.
